Margarete Restaurant combines Frankfurt cooking with a literary twist. Named for local architect Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky, who created the world's first fitted kitchen, the restaurant is housed in the historic German Publishers and Booksellers Association building. This dual lineage set the conceptual framework for design, where the histories of food and the written word are combined in an ambiance to celebrate both.
